An evocative image of Mount Snowdon, also known locally in Welsh as Yr Wyddfa (literally: "The Tomb" or "Burial Mound"), emerging magnificently in her full winter coat and looking like one of Nepal's Himalayan giants. Storm clouds, whipped on by howling winds, had been circling the mountain for some time when I managed to find this composition while sheltered from the full force of the elements. Patience was rewarded when Snowdon's triangular summit was revealed for just a few seconds, framed perfectly by swirling clouds.
