This is a much photographed view of the Seceda Ridgeline from Sass Pordoi. The cliffs plunge thousands of feet just over the edge and usually spectacular peaks tower in the distance, but on this day cloud ebbed and flowed below and above the ridge, creating a unique and mystical atmosphere that enabled me to capture something very different from the thousands of images already taken here. Patience was still required and the right moment selected, but I am delighted to have captured something different in conditions rarely seen here.
