A walk along the coast from Elgol brought me to this perfectly round, weathered and textured boulder. It looks to any casual observer like a barnacled covered beach ball stranded on the shore, washed up by the incoming tide. But oh... what a setting! Late evening sunlight illuminated the scene for this atmospheric image of the Black Cuillin across Loch Scavaig, casting a golden glow across the waters of the loch.
