This is The Rhinogydd or simply 'The Rhinogs' as it is know to most and is one of Snowdonia's best kept secrets. It is perhaps the most isolated area of North Wales and just getting into the area is an adventure in itself. After following several often imperceptible minor tracks through ankle snapping heather I arrived at this location for last light on Rhinog Fawr rising dramatically above the waters of Glow Lyn - simply beautiful.
