Atmospheric light and dramatic conditions combine to create this image of The Black Cuillin mountains across Loch Scavaig on Skye. An afternoon of watching and waiting was key to capturing the drama of this particular day and provided a short window of opportunity... as around 30 seconds after this image was captured, a 'hail wall' hit me forcing a retreat.
