"Croeso i Cymru" or... "Welcome to Wales"
The home of the 'Red Dragon' is also home to some of the UK's finest landscapes.
From the rugged mountain splendour of Snowdonia's National Park to the coastal tranquility of the Isle of Anglesey, this region has much to offer the landscape photographer.
In Snowdonia, the terrain can sometimes be inhospitable often requiring the photographer to walk significant distances or climb very steep gradients to gain many of the best vantage points. This all adds to the charm of the region and is perhaps why it is not as widely photographed as other locations in Britain.
Getting to know North Wales properly can be a complex task, but one which will ultimately reward a photographer with some truly awe inspiring images to enhance their portfolio.
