PEAK DISTRICT PANORAMA

The scenic splendour of the Peak District National Park is summed up right here in this image of Shutlingsloe taken from Shining Tor.

The weathered gritstone tors set about the summit of Shining Tor have been used to frame the undulating network of fields as they stretch out towards the base of 'Cheshire's Matterhorn', the peak of Shutlingsloe.

Ironically, Shutlingsloe is one of the very few real peaks contained within the Peak District National Park.

A finer panorama would be difficult to discover.
