WASTWATER SOLEMNITY
Wastwater lies on the western edge of the Lake District National Park, far from the traditional tourist haunts associated with the region.
Even at the height of summer, it is still possible to find your own space here and this is one of Wastwater's most commendable attributes.
This image uses a solitary bright red canoe as the centrepiece for an image which is designed to portray the feeling of 'finding one's own space.'
The famous 'Screes' rise dramatically from the ruffled surface of the lake in the background.
