BARN WITH A VIEW
What is it about isolated barns, that make them such a draw for Landscape Photographers?
I had visited this barn on numerous occasions, seeking the right conditions to truly fulfill its potential and was confident that a great image was here for the taking.
It stands surrounded by moorland below the peak of 'Shutlingsloe,' on a lonely hillside above the village of Wildboarclough.
In this image, the winter conditions portray the harshness of its environment, whilst the clear directional sunlight illuminates only the front wall of the barn, giving it a three dimensional appearance.
