THE OLD MAN AND THE SEA
Once in a while one discovers a location so beautiful that you instinctively wish to record every aspect of it.
So it was with the Venetian little harbour at Rethymnon, an exquisite place on the northern coast of Crete. Here traditional Greek buildings rise from the quayside in a display of traditional splendour.
To capture this photogenic site at its very best, required only the finest light available - that of early morning.
Here the ancient buff walls of quayside buildings reflect in the harbour waters, and an elderly Greek fisherman returns with his catch after a long night's work.
