LIVING IN ISOLATION
Springtime heralds another beginning for the landscape photographer's year.
The lush green vegetation bursts forth from its winter hibernation once again breathing life into the starkest of tree forms.
Capturing this "new life" in the early stages presents a challenge to the photographer.
This image shows nature at her finest, with two trees flush with new vegetation clinging to the side of the Llanberis Pass in the Snowdonia National Park.
In the distance an isolated whitewashed farmstead, huddled beneath the mountain known as "Crib Goch" cries out to be included in the composition.
Snowdonia can offer stunning images at any time of year, but for this photographer, springtime cannot be beaten.
