BARN BONANZA
Swaledale is perhaps the most awe inspiring location within the Yorkshire Dales National Park and is renown for its plethora of attractive field barns or "Bothies".
This gem of a region incorporates some of the most unspoilt scenery in the north of England.
In this image, the use of light to illuminate only one wall of the barn is important creating a true 3-dimensional impression of the structure.
Also vital are the shadows of passing clouds creating pools of light throughout the valley.
