Atmospheric
This section of the GALLERY is devoted to that so easily overused term "Atmospheric Images"
And indeed it is no accident, that the images portrayed in this collection were all taken at the beginning or end of the day or "The Golden Hour" as it is known to most photographers.
For it is both the first and the final hour of daylight that produces the most attractive light and the finest of conditions to fully appreciate all that nature has created.

QUEEN OF THE RIVER
When the weather predicts a cool clear night with still winds in the morning, it pays to be up "with the lark".
Often mist and fog will form before the first rays of light burst forth from the horizon. One should be in position nice and early, as the mist and fog can rapidly dissipate after sunrise.
Here an old Tug boat provides a centrepiece for this image of the River Weaver at first light.
