Atmospheric
This section of the GALLERY is devoted to that so easily overused term "Atmospheric Images"
And indeed it is no accident, that the images portrayed in this collection were all taken at the beginning or end of the day or "The Golden Hour" as it is known to most photographers.
For it is both the first and the final hour of daylight that produces the most attractive light and the finest of conditions to fully appreciate all that nature has created.

THE FINGER OF GOD
Although sunrise is photogenic, the light offered in the minutes before can surpass all expectations.
Here, still far below the horizon, the sun beams light to illuminate clouds far above the silhouetted trees.
A sliver of cloud is lit up with a fiery glow, and one could be forgiven for thinking that this indeed may be the "Finger of God" singling out his favourite tree for all to see.
