A MARVEL OF ENGINEERING

Spanning the Avon Gorge in the upmarket Clifton area of Bristol, this breathtaking structure has become the symbol of the City.

Engineered by the great Isambard Kingdom Brunel it was finally opened to traffic in 1864.

Today around 12,000 vehicles per day cross this marvel of Victorian engineering.

Floodlit at night and with bulbs illuminating the towers and supports, this is one structure that is simply crying out to be photographed.
