GUARDIAN OF THE THAMES

The huge dome of St Paul's Cathedral has stood guard over the city of London for more than 300 years.

In this image its classic and iconic form has been captured with one of London's newest landmarks, The Millennium Footbridge, in a classic juxtaposition of the 'Old and the New.'

By also including the River Thames in the composition, a highly saleable image has been created featuring three of the city's most famous landmarks.

The one minute night exposure has served two purposes here:
  • Allowing the fast flowing River Thames to record
    as a smooth blur.
  • Ensuring that any crossing pedestrians have not
    recorded in the final image.
This atmospheric image, with its winning combination of famous features simply screams "LONDON" and is sure to prove a worthy long term investment.
