Picture Sales:
Enquiries from all Media sources are welcome and we will be pleased to discuss any particular requirements you may have.
In accordance with the majority of current client wishes, high-resolution, high quality digital scans (sharpened or unsharpened) are supplied on CD.
However original medium Format and 35mm transparencies can also be made available on request.
This website displays only a small selection of images available. If you are looking for a specific Cheshire location or image please contact us directly, as it is likely to be available from an extensive stock library.
Print Sales:
Prints of images displayed within the Galleries can be ordered directly from us and are available in custom sizes or may be configured to your requirements.
Prints up to A4 are produced in house or alternatively we can quote you for laboratory produced prints.
Prints will be supplied in protective tubes or board envelopes and charges for Postage and Packing will be clearly identified within the quotation.
Business Terms
1.Pictures supplied as original transparencies
Original transparencies will be supplied by recorded mail in protective sleeving and maybe held for a period of one month from the release date without charge. Originals kept for more than one month will incur a holding fee of £5 per image per week until returned.
If original transparencies are required to be held for more than one month (eg an intended publication date) the holding fee may be waived by prior negotiation.
Original transparencies must be returned using a secure postal system and protected in such a way as to prevent permanent damage.
Each original transparency has a compensation value of £350 in the event of permanent damage. It is the responsibility of the user to ensure that all agents including third parties are aware of the risks associated with the handling of original material.
2. Rights of Use
A licence will be granted for one off specified use only for any image. Additional use of any kind will be considered as breach of copyright and will incur additional charges unless otherwise negotiated prior to use.
In line with the provisions of the 1988 Copyright Act a credit line © Alan Novelli should be included in the end use.
3. Use of Images on Approval
Where it is necessary to have images on approval for rough layout use or client / editorial approval, these will be supplied as low resolution digital images (JPEGS) on CD without charge. Where single images are required urgently for approval it maybe possible to supply low resolution JPEGS via email. This is not a service recommended for multi images.
4. Payment
Unless otherwise agreed payment will be required 30 Days from usage.
In the case of original transparencies and editorial use payment will be by prior negotiation.
In the case of ordered prints, payment in full is required before commencement and despatch of your order.
5. Third Party Rights Indemnity
Rights in all images supplied are wholly owned by the photographer and entirely free from any third party intellectual property rights or licensing agreements.
