Alan is a freelance photographer and writer based in Whitegate, Cheshire.
Alan has been photographing Cheshire and northern England for over 15 years, building a comprehensive selection of inspirational images encompassing all four seasons, taken at every conceivable time of the day.
He has written & illustrated 2 books.
1. THE LANDSCAPES OF CHESHIRE (Countryside Books) sold out in a year.
2. CHESHIRE MOODS (Halsgrove) was published in 2008 and continues to sell well.
Alan has worked for many high profile companies and agencies including multiple commissions for The National Trust, UK Tourist Board and the CWTB.
His images have been used on all manner of products from CD sleeves to Billboard advertisements and have featured on over 100 magazine covers.
